Hola 2024, Let’s Embrace Spanish Lessons with Lingo Flamingo

We wanted to start 2024 with something new, so we asked our residents, if they were to learn a language, what language would they like to learn? They decided on Spanish.

Since then, our residents have lessons every 2 weeks from Lingo Flamingo; they love it!

We try to encourage residents at our care home in Newton Mearns to speak up if there's anything they'd like to learn or take part in, this lead us to the new language skills as they were keen to learn more about another language. It's benefitted our residents by allowing them to learn a new skill and therefore, boosted their confidence.
