One of the highlights leading up to the festivities has been the vibrant transformation of the care home's garden. Residents have eagerly rolled up their sleeves, put on their gardening gloves and taken to the outdoors to infuse the garden with colours and scents. From delicate petunias to cheerful marigolds, each flower planted is a testament to the residents' love for their home and their shared joy in nurturing nature.

"We wanted to make our garden burst with life in time for our anniversary party and to welcome the summer months ahead," says Christine, Lifestyle Coordinator at Mearns View. "But more importantly, involving our residents in the gardening process has been immensely beneficial.
