At Mearns View Care Home, there’s always something happening to keep life engaging and enjoyable. We run regular activities such as Friday quizzes, a daily morning exercise club to get everyone moving, and a monthly dementia coffee morning that provides a warm and supportive space for residents and their loved ones. For those who enjoy spiritual connection, we host a monthly church service that is always popular.

We make sure our activities programme reflects what residents truly enjoy, holding regular meetings and sending out questionnaires so they can share ideas and shape what’s on offer. For example, we have activities that specifically help with dementia and cognitive function, ensuring that every resident benefits from meaningful engagement. From large group events to quieter one-to-one sessions, there’s something for everyone, no matter their interests or abilities.
